Who was Marie Antoinette?

Marie Antoinette was an Archduchess of Austria and Queen of France and of Navarre. When she was fourteen, on the day of her marriage to Louis-Auguste, Dauphin of France, she became Dauphine de France. When King Louis XV passed away, in May of 1774, young Louis-Auguste became Louis XVI, and teen Marie Antoinette became the Queen of France and of Navarre. After seven years of marriage, she gave birth to a daughter, Marie-Thérèse-Charlotte de France, the first of their four children. Marie Antoinette was not loved by the French people. Eventually, she was beheaded.
